There were some problems getting my home insured due to misunderstandings with the underwriters but Sue Franke, et al, cleared them all up brilliantly. And, once I crunched the numbers I came out way ahead bundling my car and home together with SF, instead of doing business with two different agencies. The other thing that impressed me was SF has history of standing by those of us who live in high fire-risk neighborhoods in CA. To be honest, I got really tired of signing up with a company, paying thousands in insurance premiums, only to be dropped because of where I live even tho I maintain a fuel-cleared 100 foot fire-safe area around my buildings and put a steel roof on my home. Nice to hear that an insurance company recognizes my own efforts to never have to make a home replacement claim just because I was too lazy to act appropriately relative to developing risk factors."
